Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Monday Electric website (mondayelectric.com) and the electrical services we provide. By using this site or requesting service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Monday Electric
Monday Electric is an owner-operated, licensed and insured electrical contractor based in McKinney, Texas, serving residential and light-commercial customers across McKinney, Frisco, Allen, Plano, and surrounding North Texas communities.
2. Services & Scope of Work
We provide residential and emergency electrical services, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, repairs, panel work, EV-charger service, lighting and fixtures, and related electrical work. The exact work for any job is defined by the written estimate, work authorization, or invoice for that job. Any work outside that defined scope requires a separate agreement and may be billed separately.
3. Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are based on the information available and the conditions reasonably anticipated at the time they are given. Actual pricing may change if concealed conditions, code requirements, or additional work are discovered once work begins. Where practical, we will notify you of material changes before continuing. Unless stated otherwise, estimates are valid for 30 days.
4. Scheduling & Emergency Response
We make every effort to respond promptly, including for emergencies. However, response times, arrival windows, and completion times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Scheduling may be affected by weather, parts availability, permitting, utility coordination, and other circumstances beyond our control.
5. Payment
Payment is due as stated on your estimate or invoice, typically upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Past-due balances may be subject to reasonable late charges and any costs of collection permitted by law.
6. Permits & Code Compliance
Where required, work is performed to applicable National Electrical Code and local code standards. You authorize Monday Electric to obtain any permits needed for the work; permit and inspection fees may be billed to you.
7. Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our work. Monday Electric warrants its workmanship against defects for one (1) year from the date the work is completed. If a defect in our workmanship appears within that period, we will, at our option, repair or re-perform the affected work at no labor charge for the warranted work.
This warranty does not cover:
- Manufacturer-supplied parts, fixtures, or equipment, which are covered (if at all) by their own manufacturer warranties;
- Materials or equipment supplied by the customer;
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, alteration, or repairs or modifications made by anyone other than Monday Electric;
- Pre-existing conditions, code deficiencies, or problems outside the agreed scope of the job;
- Power surges, lightning, utility-side issues, flooding, fire, pests, or acts of nature; and
- Normal wear and tear.
This warranty is void if the work is altered or serviced by anyone other than Monday Electric.
8. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe and timely access to the work area, disclose known hazards or prior electrical issues, keep children and pets clear of the work area, and provide accurate contact and property information.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except for the limited workmanship warranty above, our services and this website are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monday Electric disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Monday Electric’s total liability arising out of or relating to any job, these Terms, or this website will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Monday Electric will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of use, income, or data. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Insurance & Licensing
Monday Electric is licensed and maintains liability insurance appropriate to its work. Proof of licensing and insurance is available on request.
